Introductions.

B-ko (Biiko Daitokuji): The super genius daughter of the richest man of Graviton City. She is primo looking and a damn fine engineer, which makes her every geeks dream. She invented the battle suit, shown above, that would match A-ko's power.

C-ko (Shiiko Kotobuki): The lost princes from a far off planet. She can cry and whine better than Jimmy Swagartt. Now I still can't understand why A-ko and B-ko fight over her friendship all the time. Well, friendships with strong lesbian overtones, trust me I've asked an expert. At all costs avoid the lunch made by C-ko. It gives Akane a run on the bad end of the spectrum.

So here is the Deal:

Project A-ko [USM 1015 Sub/USM 1068 Dub]: A strange meteor, a space ship capable of wiping out the earth defense force, two friends going to a new high school and a bitter enemy from K-garden. Does it all add up, do you care? Not really. This is the best movie of the series, as A-ko battles B-ko and her robots as they fight during an invasion, causing more damage than either side. Is this any way for proper high school girls to act? Why not. Best scene: When confronted by a robot A-ko simply kicks the leg and the robot collapsed to the ground. Best Line: When B-ko pulls off her uniform to reveal her battle costume, A-ko responds. "Isn't that kinda cold?"

A-ko2 Plot of the Diatokuji Financial Group [USM 1102 Sub/USM 1133 dub]: This is the worst one of the lot as it redoes the same things as one without all the wit. A real attempt to sanitize the video by removing the bad language, the nudity and the Lesbianism. It establishes that the series is devoted to shots up A-ko skirt. Best scene has to be the Miss Ayumi, their teacher, hitting the pool or maybe the space ship full secret agents.

A-ko3 Cinderella Rhapsody [USM 1103 Sub/USM 1134 Dub]: The opening sequence is great with older A-ko, B-ko and C-ko in a pool game. This is the best animation I've ever seen. This movie starts with a typical teen story and then goes weird in overdrive. The best scene is in the porno theater. Don't ask you have to see it. The best line is Japanese 93k .wav that we will have to learn. It means do you want fries with that. Learn it, use it, remember it. Oh yea a dude named Kei steps in to be the love interest of A-ko and B-ko. He actually loves C-ko, go figure. This episode grows on you like a fungus.

A-ko4 Final [USM 1104 Sub/USM 1135 Dub]: This is the second best movie. The battle between A-ko and B-ko has gotten to the point of being mundane. Kei is supposed to marry Miss Ayumi and you can tell which two people are pissed. Best scene is at the wedding with B-ko in black and A-ko returning to her original school uniform. Ass is seriously kicked.

A-ko Versus Gray Side[USM 1105 Sub/USM 1136 Dub], Blue Side[USM 1106 Sub/USM 1137 Dub]: This is an attempt to have A-ko save the Universe as everyone else does. It removes B-ko as her mortal enemy. Some of the hard-core hate this movie as the characters are placed in an alternate universe. Forget that, this is a very good movie and I would rate it in the middle of the pack. C-ko is ten years old and it makes a lot more sense. A-ko and B-ko are friends on a desert planet ( aren't they all ) making money in usual desert planet fashion. Mix in a kidnapped C-ko, another amazon named Liza, who is armed for bear as a match for A-ko, some utterly strange dude and a battle for the saving the Universe ( as normal). How does it end? What do you think but the trip is worth it. The art runs from really good to so-so. The beginning and the end of part 2 Blue Side are a must see. Some of these are shown below.

Now some freaks will tell you that the only way to enjoy the series is letterboxed subtitled laser disk. Forget it any way that you see it is fine. I prefer the dubbed as it gives it more texture and I have been studying Japanese. The presentations on the sci-fi have been censored. Removing language O.K. but 'toon tit is a little much. Also gone are some of the really risqué lines. The video releases present the original or at least I hope they do. So now you can add to your 'toon woman choices, Wilma or Betty, Veronica or Betty (is there a conspiracy here?) and now A-ko or B-ko (Wonder if the B stands for Betty?). Enjoy the site and enjoy the movies. So what if I'm not a big C-ko fan, tough!!!!
